Product Description

 

This 10.1-inch custom TFT display is developed for EV center-console applications, combining a 1280×800 display with 850-nit brightness and integrated In-Cell touch technology. The customized solution is based on an existing automotive display platform and has been adapted to meet specific touch, optical and mechanical integration requirements.

 

The display features a 4-lane LVDS interface, 10-point capacitive touch and an I²C touch interface. A 1.1 mm cover glass with AG (Anti-Glare) surface treatment is used to help reduce distracting surface glare under bright ambient lighting. A customized backlight adhesive frame was also developed to support the required mechanical integration.

 

This solution demonstrates CDTech’s capability to customize TFT display modules beyond standard specifications, including touch technology, cover glass, surface treatment and backlight structure for automotive HMI applications.

 

Integrated In-Cell Touch for Automotive HMI

The display adopts In-Cell touch technology, integrating the touch sensing function within the display structure rather than using a conventional separate touch panel stack. This configuration supports a more integrated display architecture for automotive HMI applications where space, appearance and system integration are important considerations.

For this customized 10.1-inch display, the In-Cell solution is combined with a 1.1 mm cover glass and AG surface treatment to meet the customer’s touch and optical requirements.

Usually, we can reply to customers within 1 day about the possible causes of defects and temporary measures, issue a defect judgment report within 3 days of receiving the defective product, and issue an 8D analysis and improvement report within 7 days.

Product Lifetime

 

The lifetime of our product is determined by the lifetime of the LED in the backlight, usually 30000 hours or 50000 hours. Please refer to the specifications for details.

Warranty period

 

The warranty period of CDTech is one year according to LCD industry standards. Within one year, any product with any problems can receive free after-sales service and returns. After one year, CDTech can still provide paid after-sales service.

ESD Protection

 

All devices are designed and handled in consideration of ESD protection. This includes ESD-SAFE packaging within anti-static bags, wraps, and trays. Customers are reminded to always follow ESD safety to best protect the devices.
